Dr. Christopher Walker is an internationally trained physician, educator, and pioneer in regenerative and reconstructive medicine whose career reflects a distinctive blend of surgical mastery, scientific innovation, and humanitarian commitment. Born and educated in Jamaica, Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies and subsequently became licensed to practice medicine in Jamaica, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
After relocating to the United States, he completed a year of postgraduate training in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, establishing a strong foundation in primary care and patient-centered medicine. He then completed a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he trained under internationally respected physicians, including Dr. Kermit Krantz, a world-renowned pelvic reconstructive surgeon, and Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, an acclaimed hormone specialist, researcher, and academic leader.
During his residency, Dr. Walker further advanced his surgical skills through two years of training in the Mid-West Laparoscopic Training Laboratory. This experience helped prepare him to become a highly proficient robotic surgeon following postgraduate robotic surgery training at the Nicholson Center.
In 2008, Dr. Walker expanded his career into aesthetic medicine, inspired by his lifelong appreciation for art, beauty, and the relationship between physical restoration and personal confidence. He trained as a cosmetic surgeon and became an Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He also earned memberships and fellowship distinctions with the International Society of Cosmetogynecology, the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.
Throughout his surgical career, Dr. Walker has performed more than 15,000 procedures, including over 1,000 transvaginal mesh explantation and reconstructive surgeries. His specialized expertise led to his appointment as an expert consultant to the Honorable Joseph Goodwin, through which he advocated for women experiencing serious complications associated with transvaginal mesh implants.
As regenerative medicine emerged as an important area of medical innovation, Dr. Walker committed himself to mastering and advancing this evolving specialty. He became a member of the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine and was among the earliest pelvic reconstructive surgeons to incorporate regenerative therapies into surgical and clinical protocols. His work has focused on improving outcomes for patients with chronic and debilitating pelvic conditions, including vulvar dystrophy, pudendal neuralgia, stress urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence.
Dr. Walker has authored peer-reviewed medical publications and received multiple research accolades. His dedication to medical education has also earned him several teaching honors, including the prestigious Faculty of the Year Award from Florida State University in 2008. He achieved board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
As the founder of the International Academy of Regenerative Medicine, Dr. Walker has helped educate physicians and healthcare professionals in emerging regenerative technologies and clinical protocols. He serves on the faculty of the American Society of Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery and the International Society for Stem Cell Application, one of the world’s leading regenerative medicine education platforms for physicians.
Dr. Walker is deeply passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge with others. A defining source of this passion is his personal experience using regenerative approaches to support his mother’s recovery following a stroke. Witnessing her progress strengthened his conviction that these evolving technologies should be responsibly studied, taught, and made accessible to more patients. His desire to share this experience reflects a broader mission: to help physicians and patients understand the potential role of regenerative medicine in improving recovery, function, health, and quality of life.
Beyond his clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Walker remains committed to humanitarian service. He is an active member of the Women’s Health Network of Jamaica, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare for women in underserved communities. He has also supported and participated in the SHARES medical mission to Chiapas, Mexico, working to prevent invasive cervical cancer among economically disadvantaged women diagnosed with high-grade cervical dysplasia.
Motivated by his commitment to marginalized and minority women, Dr. Walker founded the Hazel Walker Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing reproductive health services, education, and support at no cost to women who lack access to quality care.
Today, Dr. Walker continues to serve patients through regenerative medicine and peptide-based therapies in Denver, Colorado, where he currently practices. His approach incorporates key elements of contemporary longevity medicine, including mitochondrial health optimization and the assessment of anti-aging and biological-aging biomarkers. By objectively evaluating these markers, he seeks to develop and refine individualized strategies designed to improve metabolic health, physical function, energy, recovery, resilience, and overall healthspan.
Dr. Walker also serves as a medical consultant and administrator for Pure Renewal Regenerative Concierge Medicine. As an international consultant, he assists physicians and medical organizations around the world in implementing emerging medical technologies, regenerative therapies, and evidence-informed clinical protocols to elevate the quality of patient care.
Through his continued work as a physician, educator, consultant, and humanitarian, Dr. Walker remains committed to advancing regenerative and longevity medicine while empowering patients and practitioners with the knowledge and tools needed to pursue better health, improved function, and a higher quality of life.
